About the Item
This single door pine armoire still maintains its original hand-painted finish. Layers of paint reveal tan, cream, and even a touch of rust in the background, with trim details in contrasting teal and aged-brick red.
The lock no longer functions; there is an upper metal latch holding the door in place; long hinges are original.
Restored, strong and stable, this armoire is ready to be placed and enjoyed.
All scratches, cracks (crown, sides, etc), dings, and age related separation (see corners, back, etc) are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this Swedish pine cabinet. Some dried wormholes seen along back/cornice.
Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed.
Measurements are taken at widest, deepest point which in this case is the crown.
