Antique Painted Wardrobe with Flowers Dimension: H. 195 cm – W. 126 (142 to the corners) cm – D. 47 (58 to the corners) cm Period: 1800 circa Origin: Alps Wood: Fir Description: Alpine painted wardrobe with two doors, entirely painted in light blue. The upper cornice is softly shaped and the doors follow the same curvature. The latter are depicted with rich cups of flowers, containing roses, tulips, carnations, primroses and bells, and the typical Tyrolean hearts wrapped in a floral garland with apotropaic symbols. Ramages and floral decorations are present on the entire surface and on the notches. Inside, the wardrobe offers ample space, which can be customized with the addition of shelves and/or a clothes hanger pole. This antique Alpine wardrobe painted in light blue presents itself as a sturdy and solid piece of furniture, typical of the Italian mountain regions, with a solid wood structure and craftsmanship that reflects local tradition and culture. The light blue paint, slightly worn by time, gives the wardrobe a charming and nostalgic look. The doors of the wardrobe are decorated with intricate floral patterns, hand-painted with great care and skill. In the center of each door, elegant and stylized cups stand out, painted in a slightly darker shade to create contrast. The cups are filled with an abundance of flowers, each of which is depicted in vivid detail: roses with their soft and nuanced petals, tulips with their elongated shape and bright colors, carnations with their delicate fringes, bellflowers with flowers in the shape of small hanging bells, and primroses, small and delicate, which add a note of freshness. Around the cups of flowers, other decorative motifs extend, such as curling leaves, tendrils and small buds, filling the space with harmony and balance. The colors used for the flowers are bright and contrast beautifully with the light blue background, creating a visual effect that captures the attention and invites you to discover every detail. The wardrobe as a whole exudes a sense of serenity and natural beauty, perfect for bringing a touch of authenticity and warmth to any space. This cabinet is partially restored. The price includes the complete restoration and customization of the interior (shelves and/or coat hanger pole) Restoration information: Our laboratory guarantees conservative restoration for each piece of furniture while respecting its integrity. Each piece of furniture is treated to ensure solidity and hygiene. In particular, the following are carried out: – structural restoration – careful anti-woodworm treatment – cleaning and sanitization of the interior – external finish with natural beeswax – internal finish with shellac (natural alcohol-based varnish) Upon request, we can agree on the desired level of restoration and the customization of the internal layout (clothes hanger poles, shelves, etc.).
