About the Item

A particularly fine Antique French Provincial Armoire with delicate traditional decorative motifs. With a carved cornice and classic shaped and recessed doors on both cases. Canted corners with fluted supports and carved floral vine bands in relief. The top case with three shelves, the lower case with one shelf. Shaped recessed side panels. Raised on heavy short scrolled curved legs and a serpentine skirt rail. With fine brass traditional mounts, and keys. H. 97 1/2", W. 61", Depth 25" Condition: Please see detail photos. Various acceptable signs of age include the lower left door sunstruck, some wear, age and use marks including scratches and stains to the doors but good antique patina overall with a magnificent presentation.
