About the Item

A stunning French 19th century transitional St. two door armoire mounted with fine ormolu mounts. The arbalette shaped armoire has two doors with ormolu keyhole escutcheon and the original three adjustable interior shelves. The armoire is inlaid with a wonderful butterfly marquetry with two central quarter veneered medallions. At the top lays a fine marble top.
