French Walnut inlaid star blind door cask with carved molded edge cornice, centered floral shell medallion, flanking intertwined ribbon, floral, fruit, and tassel motifs, original iron locking mechanism hidden underneath birds feet, and terminating on carved molded edge base with the original ebonized bun feet. Mid 18th Century. Piece retains the original iron key.
