About the Item

Grand 18th Century Country French Louis XIV Stripped Oak Armoire was crafted from select old-growth oak to literally last for centuries! Measuring just an inch shy of 8 feet tall, the rectilinear architecture is enhanced by the arch of the pair of doors, their beautifully contoured molded panels, but most of all the multiple tiers of the crown molding which follows the mitered corners and adds an impressive air to the visual impact. Even the base molding follows the contours of the mitered corners. Each door is hung with brass barrel hinges, which allow the doors to open wide to reveal a truly cavernous interior that can be easily customized to your particular needs. Both the crown and base wrap around the sides which each boast three raised recessed panels, providing visual appeal from all angles.
