About the Item

Hand-painted two-door folk armoire from Franconia, crafted from fir wood and finished with traditional beer glaze. The fronts feature light-blue diamond motifs with floral decoration. The cabinet has chamfered corners and is dated 1836 in the upper section. Iron fittings complete the piece. The interior is lined with paper and includes a hat shelf; it can be adapted for use as a wardrobe if desired.
