About the Item

Wardrobe, walnut burl and veneer, mirrored glass, glass, brass, Italy, 1950s A beautiful and luxurious Italian wardrobe or very large cabinet. With its seven doors this wardrobe has an impressive size. Five doors hold a mirrored surface, the two outer doors show luxurious walnut burl. The frame on the sides is made of walnut veneer. Three double doors and one single door structure the storage space which is a combination of one drawer section and mostly hanging possibilities. A nice feature are the integrated lights within the interior. All doors can be locked and the keys used as handles. The differences in wood adds elegance to the piece. Slim tapered legs in brass lift the cabinet up. Overall, the armoire shows great detailing and is a truly and elegant Italian design. Please be advised that the item is in a pre-owned condition. The lacquer layer exhibits signs of wear, while the mirrors show signs of aging. Additionally, there is damage to a glass panel within the interior. Furthermore, certain structural elements require thorough inspection. Restoration can be done before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come.
