About the Item

Magnificent Louis XV period wedding cabinet in molded and carved walnut, opening two beautiful triple-paneled doors in scalloped burl walnut, a large drawer with lock in the lower part. Fonton with the monogrammed coat of arms of the two families. Three-point lock with its original key with a diamond-shaped stem with curved sides. Superb work from the South-West of France, very generous sculptures and moldings. Sold in its used condition with gaps, some traces of woodworking, the feet probably redone.
