About the Item

Unusual and very pretty armoire of large proportions, with concave sides, entirely carved out of wood. Cream-colored paint with light blue and gold details. The cornice is decorated with a frieze of egg and dart motif. Carved floral detailing on either side of the door, which could be fitted with a mirror or glass pane. The door frame is surrounded by carved rope detail on the outer edge, and a frieze of leaves on the inside. Rare and beautiful piece.
