This monumental carved walnut armoire combines 18th-century Italian Baroque craftsmanship with later Renaissance Revival elements. Flanked by carved and pierced columns topped with Corinthian capitals, the two-door cabinet showcases bold scrollwork, foliate motifs, and a richly molded cornice. Designed to command attention, the armoire reflects the drama, scale, and theatrical ornamentation that defined Baroque interiors. Some losses. Wear consistent with age and use. 94.5"w x 41"d x 90"h.
