About the Item
This lovely painted armoire still maintains the quality and details of the original hand-painted folk art finish. The soft, gentle colors with delightful floral motifs are beautifully executed against a painted teal blue panel. Old gouges seen along front, sides, etc.
Original hinges and lock with key.
This original painted single door armoire has been restored so it is strong, stable and ready for use.
Age related wear include dings, cracks/scratches, distress to paint, dried old wormholes, aged separation of wood (see back),etc. do not detract from the beauty nor function of this wonderful folk-art find. Distress, some loss to feet (see photos) but still function.
