About the Item
The bold crown of this typical Central European pine armoire comprises a pine ogee molding above a strip of hardwood gadroon molding. The wide swinging doors each have one long flat panel and one short, secured by hardwood mullions. Reeded molding is applied to the front corners, capped by hardwood corbels. The base contains a hand-cut dovetailed drawer with ceramic knobs. Suitable for conversion to an entertainment center or office piece, the interior presently holds a retrofitted hat shelf with hanging pole set beneath.
