About the Item

What a good-looking armoire! This predominantly pine armoire looks great with its generous use of hardwood rim. A hardwood ogee crown molding attaches to the top frieze, followed after a short space by a row of walnut egg and dart molding. The mullions that secure the pine raised panels in each door are hardwood as is the trim around the pine drawer front. The front corners are adorned with hardwood full balusters with Corinthian capitals., mounted on tall pine obelisks. Narrow strips of ogee molding on the sides are of hardwood. The base contains a shallow hand-cut dovetailed drawer and the interior has a retrofitted hat shelf and hanging pole.
