About the Item

Provencal style wardrobe. Walnut wood and root, wrought iron fittings. Century XVIII. Top trim missing. Double-door wardrobe with a drawer in the lower part raised on two legs in the shape of a cabriolet and decorated on the front with moldings with a clear Rococo influence and a series of marquetry details concentrated in the drawer (oval in the center and composition around the handle handles) but also present in the lower trim, which stands out for its cutout profile. Both the door locks and the handles feature a curved and counter-curved scroll decoration typical of the 18th century Rococo, while the wardrobe is influenced by French Provençal types from that same century. Inside the doors, you can see three "projections" on the sides, probably used to put as many shelves." · Size: 130 x 39 x 200 cm. Weight is merely orientative.
