About the Item

Authentic two-door Bauhaus wardrobe designed by Robert Slezák, model SK-9, made in Czechoslovakia during the 1930s. A classic catalog example of Central European interwar functionalist furniture, combining clean modern lines with quality craftsmanship. The wardrobe is finished in walnut veneer and features original chrome tubular steel legs and handles, typical of Slezák designs. Inside, there is a hanging rail and four shelves for versatile storage. The doors are secured with the original key. This piece remains in very good original condition, with natural patina on the chrome and minor age-related wear. The structure is solid, and doors and lock work perfectly. No major damage is present. An elegant and functional example of Czechoslovak Bauhaus, perfect for collectors of interwar modernism or as a stylish storage piece in a contemporary interior.
