Late 19th century, France, St. Faubourg Saint-Antoine region of Paris, at the time a legendary district renowned for the shops of some of the finest ébénistes (cabinetmakers) in all the world.
This remarkable Parisian credence cupboard (dining buffet - sideboard - credenza, originally used for the storing and displaying of plates and for serving at banquets), circa 1880, showcases excellent quality craftsmanship, hand-crafted solid oak construction and profuse hand carved ornamentation, exceptionally executed in medieval Gothic inspired Renaissance era style, one-piece design, having a stepped cornice over dual cabinet doors, each with central portrait plaque among foliated scrollwork arabesques in low and high relief adding distinct three-dimensional qualities, warmth and rich depth. The doors opening to a shelved interior storage compartment, above a single dovetailed drawer with relief shell-form handle. Turned drop-finials flank ornate turned bluster-form column supports adorned in intricate acanthus carvings, rising on a conforming hexagonal platform base where the flowing scrolling foliate carvings continue over stepped molding, having large lower open display shelf against paneled backplate, further rising on sculpted tapering feet. Plaster Polychrome Display Sculpture Bust Enchanting Woman
Located in BROOKLYN, NY
Possibly Beatrice, but likely a Grand Tour bust figure, painted plaster over wood. Marked 921 to verso. Barely a few losses to paint. Enchanting and remarkable bust of a young medieval woman.
Grand Tour busts were popular souvenirs for wealthy Europeans, particularly British aristocrats, who traveled around Europe, especially Italy, from the 17th to the 19th centuries. These busts often depicted historical figures, mythological characters, or, as seen here, idealized figures in classical style. The provided search results and image descriptions suggest that this could be a 19th-century polychrome painted plaster cast bust...

Venice 19th Century Throne Chair attributed to Testolini Frères Venice ,Leather Upholstery, wax polished
About Testolini Frères Venise
Testolini Brothers saw its birth as a carpentry-cabinetmaking company; its owners were not ordinary personalities and immediately began to introduce new fashions in furnishings. The period chosen was not among the most propitious - shortly thereafter there would be the uprisings of 1848 and the famous revolt of Manin and the Republic of San Marco -, but the Testolini were not discouraged and serenely continued their production, seizing immediately the fresh artistic eclecticism that invaded the world from the mid-19th century, starting to conceive and produce original and imaginative models.
Umbertine Style Furniture by Testolini Frères Venice
Umbertine furniture is typically made with solid cherry, olive, oak and walnut wood. The Umbertine style furniture that was revived in this era was mainly: chests of drawers with marble tops...
