About the Item

Ash cart with pull-out trays by designer Cesare Lacca. Refined trolley with slender and very light structure with sinuous shapes made of ash wood with brass details. The trolley has two tops composed of two trays with wooden edging and glass top resting on brass rods. Removable trays make it easier to serve guests. This elegant trolley is ideal for impressing your guests during an aperitif or at the office in the middle of a meeting. Made in the 1950s' unfortunately the carriage shows signs of time and tampering, in fact the carriage has undergone a coarse paint stripping and has been taken to wood while the original color was dark brown. All of this can be seen from photos, and in spite of everything this wonderful carriage has not lost its charm. Cesare Lacca was born in Naples in 1929, moved to Milan at the age of 21, and in the 1950s gave birth to numerous pieces of furniture made mostly by combining glass, brass, and wood.
