About the Item

Designed in 1930 by Alfred Roth, a pupil of Le Corbusier for Italian manufacture MisuraEmme. Roth approached furniture with the same clarity he brought to his architecture, believing good design should adapt, move and support daily life without getting in the way. The AR1 reflects that thinking perfectly, its mobile form shaped by modernist ideals and a commitment to purposeful simplicity. It’s a small reminder of how innovation once looked: direct, flexible and ready to work wherever you need it. Chrome tub frame with lacquered maple top and cubby. The top effortlessly glides to reveal a stainless steel bottle organizer that can be removed for ease of service. Made in Italy, 1980's. In good condition with wear appropriate with age and use, kept all original. Plaqued and numbered, as shown in photo.
