About the Item

A lovely, old two-tier cart or étagère, with a Madeleine Castaing, bohemian-Victorian vibe. Its ebonized finish is paired with aged brass-painted wood baluster railings. This étagère would be a great bar cart, with casters on bottom for mobility. It’s also perfect in a bathroom for extra towels or any space needing a little extra storage. It’s timeless and classic. What makes this piece even more special is its provenance, once belonging to today’s tastemaker and art collectors’, Carolina and (ex-husband) Ian Irving. Carolina is a favorite, top designer having a textile design atelier (exclusive to the trade), Creative Director of Home for Oscar De La Renta, former Editor at Elle Décor, House and Garden, and Vogue Living.
