About the Item
Spectacular and unique Victorian serving bar trolley, dating to the early 1900s (circa 1900–1910), of English origin.
Fully original and beautifully preserved. The trolley features an elegant and well-balanced solid mahogany structure, distinguished by its gracefully flared uprights and refined proportions, showcasing the high level of craftsmanship typical of late Victorian production. The design is enriched by beautifully shaped wooden handles, carefully carved to offer both functionality and visual harmony.
The two serving tiers are defined by softly rounded edges and corners, an elegant detail that lightens the overall appearance while enhancing its refined character. Both shelves retain their original antique crystal glass panels, remarkable for their subtle waviness and warm tone, which further attest to the authenticity and age of the piece.
Mounted on its original metal castors, the trolley is both practical and visually light, combining sturdiness with elegance. The understated yet sophisticated design reflects the transition from Victorian richness toward a more functional and modern aesthetic.
A highly decorative and collectible piece, perfect for elevating a classic, Edwardian, or refined contemporary interior, and an exceptional example of early 20th-century English furniture.
