Vintage Shaker Style Spider Leg Candle Stand.
Classic Shaker style tripod spider leg candle stand in beautiful, refined minimalist design. It features a tooled leather top and a masterfully turned baluster pedestal which is supported by three finely formed spider legs. It's simple elegance and perfect proportion gives this Mid-Century candle stand a modern look and a graceful presence.
Condition is good. One leg is repaired. Some discoloration on the leather surface.

This piece is attributed to John Meads based on its distinctive quality and Albany cabinetmaking characteristics, which drew style elements from both New York City and Boston.
