Antique Georgian George II Mahogany Folding Card or Tea Table – c.1750, Fine Quality Full of authentic charm and character, this fine quality George II folding card or tea table dates to around 1750 and showcases attractive mahogany with excellent colour, patina, and period charm. A rare and highly decorative find, this elegant table would make a wonderful statement piece in the right setting. It's well-proportioned design and clean Georgian lines give it a timeless appeal suitable for both traditional and classic interiors. The table is structurally sound, solid, and stable, with no loose joints. The folding top operates as it should, making it both practical and versatile for use as a card, tea, or occasional table. In very good antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, scratches, wear and imperfections as is to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Historic repairs as one would expect (nothing nasty or obvious) with 10-12 generations of use. The lock is incomplete. Dimensions Overall maximum dimensions: 84cmW x 80cmD (42cm closed) x 69cmH (71cmH when closed). An elegant and rare mid-18th century Georgian table that combines quality craftsmanship, period charm, and sophistication.
