About the Item
This elegant game table, also known as a card table, is designed in the Rococo style and is a fine example of classic English furniture tradition. The piece features the characteristic cabriole legs, which gracefully curve outward and inward, creating a light and decorative silhouette typical of Rococo-inspired design.
The table is crafted in a warm-toned hardwood and it has a folding top that allows it to be used as a compact console table when closed. When opened, the tabletop unfolds to reveal a playing surface.
The table measures approximately H 75.5 cm x W 85 cm x D 87 cm when open, and H 78 cm x W 87 cm x D 43 cm when folded.
The design is inspired by the 18th-century Louis XV period and the later neo-Rococo revivals of the 19th century. Its refined proportions and decorative yet understated form make it suitable for both classic and contemporary interiors, adding a touch of historic charm and functional versatility.
This table is ideal for a living room, library, or study, where it can serve as a practical gaming surface or a stylish side table.
This fine table will complement many interior styles. An Antique, Classic, Scandinavian, Modern, or an Art Deco home decor.
