About the Item

A carved mid nineteenth century Chinese centre table with exceptional carving. The top is circular with a carved foliate border and scalloped edge and striking rose marble inset. A texturally very detailed carved pedestal base raised on huge scrolls ,in a tree trunk and branch like design,giving the piece a rather contemporary look. Very unusual stylish form.
