A magnificent 19th-century center table, richly hand-carved in solid wood and adorned with 22-karat water gilding. The table rests on four bold dolphin-form supports, masterfully sculpted with scrolling acanthus details and gilt embellishments, converging at a central pedestal with elaborate carved ornamentation.
The circular top is fitted with a striking Michelangelo marble surface, characterized by its deep black-gray tone veined with gold, offering a luxurious contrast to the luminous gilt base. The table shows exceptional craftsmanship and an exquisite combination of grandeur and refinement.
