About the Item

A stunning biomorphic center table. Like much of the best studio furniture of designers like Paul Evans, this marvelous piece has the elemental presence of modern sculpture. From afar the hammered copper top is like a placid seascape, up close it has almost a lunar quality, from which the hand-wrought legs descend like parts of a Louise Bourgeois sculpture.
