About the Item

Rare and stunning prototype table by the contemporary swedish designer Hilda Hellström. It was originally made in spring 2015 and it is a unique work commissioned by the famous interior architects Champalimaud for a London house. It's a very rare commission as Hilda Hellström is a sculptor, most of her works having no functional work. This was her 7th, last and best table. The previous ones she made were small coffee tables, around 50 x 50 x 50cm. This one is the biggest table useable as a centre, game or dining table. The table is made by a mixing material from plaster and jesmonite. An extraordinary art of piece! Dimensions are: 100cm diameter and 75cm height.
