About the Item

A stunning Continental 19th century Burl Maple Biedermeier center table/desk with ebonized fruitwood borders. Raised on brass casters are elegant scrolled legs rosette designs and scrolls joining them at each side. At the frieze are three wide drawers with keyhole escutcheons. At the top is a fitted gilt tooled black leather surface. All original warm patina throughout.
