About the Item

Table with bevelled clear glass top in special square size cm 110 x 110, 12 mm thickness, base cm 69.5 x 69.5 x H 71.5 Total height 72 cm. Sculptural zig-zag wooden base cm 69.5 x 69.5 x H 71.5 in cream color, with the typical 20-gloss mat lacquer by Sormani. De Pas, D'Urbino, Lomazzi designed a collection named "Sari" for Sormani in the early Eighties, of Japanese inspiration, where unusual shapes conferred a certain lightness to all models. The group of architects was otherwise an advocate of the pop culture (see "Joe" and "Blow" sofas). The piece was presented in 1983 at the Milan Fair and has been a best seller ever since. It comes with a "Certificate of Authenticity" on original vintage letterhead.
