About the Item
Superb early 19th century rosewood Regency table with beaded circular tilt-top above a highly unusual carved lattice work covered pineapple standard and gilded bronze rosette insets resting on a gadroon-carved lower section with a foliate brass-inlaided tripartite base terminating in scrolled feet and raised upon original 'concealed' brass castors.
The inlaid brass arabesques on this table reflect the extremely fashionable taste for French boulle furniture which was avidly collected by the Prince Regent and his circle during this period.
This item is located in our Hudson, New York facility and can be viewed there with an appointment.
