About the Item

A 1930’s entryway or occasional table in style of French Interior Decorator Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann, who rose to fame in the early 1900’s for his Art Deco designs. The channeled pedestal wood base displays time honored craftsmanship. The table top has an inlaid marble top in tones of taupe, brown, gray and black and the wood frame has eased square corners. DIMENSIONS: 51.25"W x 51.25"D x 27"H; Top 1"Thick CONDITION: The wood frame has patina from time; including variations in the wood tone; small pinholes and small chips. The marble top has some scratching. The table top is not permanently affixed to the base; but rests on the pedestal base. This is slightly lower than a standard dining table , suggesting its use is as a decorative entryway table. Our team of restorationists have conditioned the wood but we chose to celebrate the patina. Further restoration, if desired, is available through our Showroom. As is the table can function perfectly as a display, entryway or occasional table.
