About the Item

A French occasional cherry-wood table with brass and marble top, from the early 20th century. This antique table from France has a round-shaped beveled edge stone top (in hues of dark wine, white, black, and some light tan veining), nicely framed within a brass pie-crust gallery raised lip. The rounded apron houses a pair of small drawers at two opposite sides, and a matching pair of pull-out candle shelves (with leather inset tops) set at the opposing sides. This piece is presented upon four rounded and flute-carved legs which terminate into brass feet. This early 20th century French table, with its colorful stone top and brass accents, will make a great piece to float within a room as a small center or occasional table.
