About the Item
An impressive and high quality Italian 19th century Baroque st. marble center/dining table. This handsome rectangular table is raised by impressive pierced White Carrara marble carved pedestals displaying central crests with a turret, symbolizing a family associated with a fortified hill town. The crest is within a shield and flanked by two cherubs seated on scrolls with their hands up, while all above carved lion paws. Above lays the marble top with the Vert de Patricia marble center and bordered by a White Carrara before a Rosso Antico marble band. The outer border of the top is finished by a Sienna marble border with concave corners.
