An Italian walnut, mahogany and European birch center table from the 19th century, with geometric and star shaped marquetry decor and turned pedestal. Created in Italy during the 19th century, this inlaid center pedestal table features a nearly square top, adorned with an exquisite décor of marquetry. A delicate rhythm of geometric motifs surrounds a central star. The colors alternate beautifully between light and darker tones, creating a lively effect on the top. The table is raised on a central turned pedestal resting on a tripod base. In perfect subtlety, the three scrolled feet are exquisitely adorned with inlaid motifs in their upper section, reminiscent of the feathers of an arrow.
