About the Item
Unique Italian tripod centre table with marble inlaid top.
The base is an early 19th-century Italian tripod table (1820-1830). Made from mahogany with finely carved ram heads. Beautiful colour and patina.
The marble top with inlay dates from the mid/late 20th century. Entirely inlaid with countless gemstones! Mainly round shapes, but also flower and bird motifs.
Various types of gemstones used in the table: agate, jasper, malachite, lapis lazuli, onyx, serpentine and various other types of marble.
Marble and wooden base both in very good condition!
