About the Item
A 19th century marble topped mahogany and ormolu mounted centre table. It has distinctive Rococo Revival charecteristics being marble topped, made of mahogany, with ornate nature based carvings, it is a wonderful example of the style. Topping the table legs there are beautifully carved women's heads and at the bottom, are intricately sculpted feet, both gilded in ormolu. The mahogany frieze has beautiful intricate carvings of flowers an leaves, standing upon bun feet. The marble top is a rich orange and red a stunning opulant addition to any home!
