About the Item
A beautiful pair of round iron tables, late 19th to early 20th century, featuring gracefully shaped legs and original hand-lacquered surfaces. The tops are finished in a softly mottled green, subtly shaded to complement the darker iron base beneath. Each table stands on four double-upright legs, joined by a scrolled and braided cross-stretcher that provides both stability and sculptural movement. The silhouette is light and fluid, yet the construction is solid and weight-bearing. Because of the strength of the iron frames, these tables are capable of supporting heavier stone or marble tops if desired, making them highly versatile in use and styling. Ideal as garden room center tables, sunroom pieces, or flanking a sofa indoors. They bring character without heaviness — a blend of rustic charm and elegant linework.
