We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning circa 1880 Anglo-Indian hand carved coffee table in solid hardwood
A very good looking and collectable table, originally designed as a centre table however by western standards its to low to the ground, as such we would use it as a coffee or cocktail table
The timber patina is glorious, it looks like rosewood but has a darker grain so I would say it’s a tropical hard wood. It is very hard waring and has a lovely patina

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
