A stunning 19th Century well figured mahogany marble top centre table of exceptional quality and finely hand carved with beautifully rich patination, grain and ormolu mounted throughout. The striking moulded Marquina Black marble top of circular form is raised over an elegantly simple deep frieze supported on gracefully tapering outswept legs with well cast ormolu mounts on knee featuring fabulous scroll, acanthus leaves, flowerhead and foliate motif detail, conjoined with a gorgeous shaped undertier shelf, terminating on ormolu mounted paw foot and casters.
