About the Item

Elegante tavolino da centro di area veneta, probabilmente vicentina, databile ai primissimi anni dell’Ottocento.Il mobile presenta un raffinato piano rotondo in noce con intarsio radiale “a spicchi”, realizzato accostando elementi di legno scelto per venatura e profondità cromatica. Il piano, di 55 cm di diametro, conserva una bella patina antica e una lavorazione tipica della produzione veneta tra la fine del Settecento e l’inizio del XIX secolo. Il bordo del piano mostra leggere ondulazioni e piccoli segni d’uso coerenti con l’età; la superficie presenta normali assestamenti del legno e una lieve movimentazione naturale, senza comprometterne stabilità e leggibilità. Nella parte posteriore del mobile sono presenti alcune sostituzioni antiche della lastronatura lungo il bordo inferiore, visibili a un esame attento. La cintura è dotata di un cassetto frontale; la serratura è stata sostituita in epoca recente con un modello moderno, pur mantenendo la funzionalità dell’apertura. La struttura poggia su tre eleganti gambe a sciabola in noce massello, che conferiscono equilibrio e slancio all’insieme. Nel complesso, il tavolino si presenta in buono stato di conservazione, con ottima patina, sapore autentico del tempo e nessuna criticità strutturale.
