About the Item
An intricate coffee table by Knut Hesterberg for Ronald Schmitt made in the 1970s.
The frame is made out of brushed aluminium steel following an intricate organic continuous interlocking shape with a round brown smoked glass top.
With a twist of brutalism but also space age aliments this table still stands strong in style and it would look amazing in most interiors, modern or vintage looking. Either on a three seater sofa, curved or modular one would sill look great.
A durable and iconic table easy to use in any modern, contemporary or vintage interiors.

Knut Hesterberg
Knut Hesterberg is a world-famous German sculptor who started his career at a graphic art and design studio in Zurich, Switzerland, where he came into contact with the architect and artist Max Bill, who had a great influence on his future work. He has exhibited his sculptures all-over Europe, and many of his large-scale sculptures are permanently installed in public spaces throughout Germany and a few in Italy.
