About the Item
A beautiful hand crafted brass, bronze and marble coffee table circa 1960s and attributed to Maison Jansen.
This lovely compact table has elegant cast Bronze feet which support thick fluted brass legs, the legs are attached to each other with semi circular Bronze bands connected in the centre with the same thick fluted Brass rod as used for the legs.
A very classic mid-century design topped with 20mm thick hand polished Maron Imperial Marble
The brass base has a rectangular frame above the legs which supports the Marble top which is held in place with two Brass pins that have holes carved into the underside of the marble to stop it slipping off the frame
All together a beautiful design extremely well crafted.
