About the Item
A stunning antique French gilt wood marble top coffee table, dating from around the 1890-1900 period.
This has a beautiful and unusual kidney shaped design, the gilt frame is made from solid wood with ornate gesso mouldings. The green marble top has gorgeous colour tones and patterns, it lifts off for ease of transport.
The condition is excellent for its age, with only some minor age related wear here and here. Overall this displays a wonderful patina.
