A Beautiful Slate and Oak Coffee Table by Carl Straub, Circa 1960’s
This beautiful oak and slate contrasting table, not only has an elegance but also a playful use of weight and balance. The frame has been refinished so is in perfect condition. The slate top remarkably, is chip free and is a wonderful piece of natural stone. This is a very lovely coffee table.

We've been sourcing and selling early 20th Century and antique French furniture for over 20 years.
All of our pieces are sympathetically restored.
We specialise in original, French, leather club chairs. Even though our stock is quite consistent, finding original club chairs in a very good, original condition is a constant challenge. With our partners in France, we are always on the lookout and our chairs can be found anywhere from a local brocante to a chateau sale, from the north to the south of France.
In our experience, nearly all the chairs will need attention to the springs, after all they're not just objects of beauty, they are to be used. In addition, the leather on our chairs is always nourished and the upholstery cleaned.
Our customers range from private homes to hotels and clubs, film and fashion shoots. Our passion has not diminished, and we endeavour to keep finding beautiful chairs and exquisite pieces for your pleasure.
