About the Item

PAR4 modular coffee table by French designer Bernard Vuarnesson for Bellato, Italy 1970's. Four pull out table tops. Irokko wooden frame. Each top has a black, orange or ivory white side, which can be composed into different color combinations and shapes. This is the much sought after orange/black/white combination. For a nested table, you can choose a black, orange, or ivory top. We chose for orange in the photo. !The coffee table offered here concerns an EARLY vintage and original 'Bellato Italy' PAR4 coffeetable table from the 1970's! Manufacturer 'Bellato' stopped existing in the 1980's and this design was sold to 'Sculptures Jeux'. French company owned by Mrs. Vuarnesson. These productions have bright colors, aluminium, glass and often beech wood. Again, this is a vintage Bellato-Italy example. Bernard Vuarnesson has an engineering degree from Ecole Supérieure du Bois (university college of wood) and a civil engineering degree from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers de Paris.
