Within the table base sits an original abstract aluminum sculpture by French artist Jean Campa (1933–2024), signed and dated 1992. The expressive composition, with its folded planes and organic forms, captures Campa’s signature ability to translate rhythm and improvisation into sculptural presence. The artwork is framed within a newly constructed steel structure with brass-capped feet, topped by a striking asymmetrical and geometrical plexiglass surface. The transparent top both grounds the design and reveals the sculptural depth below, allowing light to play across the aluminum folds and emphasizing the dynamic tension between solidity and openness. Jean Campa (1933–2024) was a French sculptor known for his distinctive cast aluminum works.
