About the Item
This impressive modern coffee table is of Italian origin and dates to the 1970's. The burled rosewood veneers have been exquisitely book-matched to produce a stunning kaleidoscope-like effect. The richness of the wood is boldly juxtaposed with minimalist -even brutalist- design. Square brass legs complete the crisp presentation. Its condition is "vintage” -with expected scratches, minor chips and imperfections. There are no significant losses but the patina that has developed of the piece's lifetime is warm and rich. We consider this a piece with universal appeal, and it mixes easily in both modern or traditional interiors.
