About the Item

Elegant large vintage coffee table designed by Roberto Monsani for Acerbis in the 1970s. . In the spirit of Willy Rizzo's creations. . The coffee table is made of black colored laminate and features stainless steel checkerboard patterns on the top. It remains in good vintage condition consistent with use and age. Minor signs on the laminate and stainless steel surface (light scratches) and one corner of the bottom is slightly damaged as you can see in a photo (size less than a one euro coin). . Dimensions : 142 cm x 83 cm x 29 cm . Roberto Monsani was an Italian architect. Born in Florence in 1929, he was the founder of the 3BM studio together with Luigi and Giancarlo Bicocchi. In addition to the design of some villas in the seventies, he was the author of the interiors of some Salvatore Ferragamo shops. In 1975 he began his collaboration with the Acerbis company, for which he designed furniture, in particular the Life containers, still on sale today. He passed away in 2018.
