PAR6 modular coffee table by French designer Bernard Vuarnesson for Bellato, Italy 1970's.
Six pull out table tops. Irokko wooden frame. Each top has an ivory white, black or orange side which can be composed into different color combinations and shapes.
This is the much sought after orange/black and white combination.
For a nested table, you can choose a black, orange, or ivory top.
Or a combination of 2 colors.
We chose for 2 black tops, photo 3.
Manufacturer 'Bellato' stopped existing in the 1980's and this design was sold to 'Sculptures Jeux'. French company owned by Mrs. Vuarnesson. These current productions have bright colours, aluminium, glass and often beech wood.
!The coffee table offered here concerns an EARLY vintage and original 'Bellato Italy' PAR4 coffeetable table from the 1970's.
Nested the table is W. 140 cm x D. 70 cm.
Extended it can go to W. 210 cm x D. 140
Super handy with parties around the coffeetable.
Bernard Vuarnesson has an engineering degree from Ecole Supérieure du Bois (university college of wood) and a civil engineering degree from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers de Paris.
